Coway (CEO Jang-won Seo), a best life solution company, has won the New Technology Innovation Award at the ‘2025 Korea Innovation Awards’ organized by the Korean Standards Association (KSA), earning the honor for the 23rd consecutive year.

The Korea Innovation Awards are presented to companies and products that have achieved distinctive innovation in the fields of technology, products, and services. Since its first win in 2002, Coway has had a total of 33 products receive the New Technology Innovation Award, demonstrating its unrivaled technological competitiveness as a leading environmental home appliance company in Korea. This year, the Icon Pro water purifier and the BEREX Triple Chair were selected as recipients of the New Technology Innovation Award. Both products won praise from the judges, being recognized for their high level of completion in technological innovation and user-centered convenience.

The Coway Icon Pro water purifier was recognized for its innovation, featuring a touch-type LCD display on the front for an intuitive interface and advanced function control. It is designed to allow easy operation of various information guides and detailed functions, and through its Recipe Mode—which automatically guides water temperature, volume, and preparation methods—users can easily make a variety of beverages such as coffee, drip bags, hand drip, and baby formula, earning positive responses from consumers.

The BEREX Triple Chair is a multifunctional chair that combines three functions—immersion, rest, and recovery—in one, and can be used in various ways depending on the purpose, such as an office chair, recliner, or massage chair. Recently, the ‘Triple Chair Moving Type’ featuring swivel casters was released, earning recognition for further enhancing consumer convenience.

A Coway official said, “Winning the New Technology Innovation Award for 23 consecutive years is the result of recognition for Coway’s ceaseless technology development and innovation efforts,” adding, “We plan to continue to introduce innovative products that add new value to consumers’ daily lives, based on Coway’s distinctive technological capabilities.”
