Presenting Häfele products and space applications in a modern and engaging way through digital 3D

Häfele Korea Co., Ltd. (CEO Stefan Huber) announced that it has added Korean subtitles to 'Häfele Discoveries,' the online exhibition platform it unveiled last year, and will continue to operate it throughout this year.

HÄFELE, the global furniture and architectural hardware company, took part in 'interzum 2021,' the world's largest furniture supplies fair held online this past May, where it presented a separate large-scale platform called 'Häfele Discoveries' that served as both a virtual fair booth and a showroom.

Having participated every year with one of the largest booths, Häfele built the large-scale 'Häfele Discoveries' platform to actively engage with consumers as interzum went online. Häfele explained, "For 62 years we have been proud to be one of the largest exhibitors as an expert in furniture fittings, architectural hardware, electronic access control systems, and LED lighting," adding, "With the goal of opening a new horizon for digital platform fairs, Häfele Discoveries connected the virtual world and the real world through a hybrid approach."

Häfele Discoveries is broadly composed of △the Black Forest Lounge, △the Live Stage, and △the Discoveries Theme World. △In the Black Forest Lounge, Häfele Korea CEO Stefan Huber appears virtually to deliver a greeting; on the left side of the screen is a 'Highlight Tour' feature that lets visitors view the key sections all at once, while on the right side are feature descriptions explaining how to use the site. △The Live Stage was designed to provide in-depth insights into the latest product trends and to enable individual communication with customers. △In the Discoveries Theme World, made up of a total of 16 products and spaces, visitors can encounter online showrooms rendered in 3D reality in each section. Based on Häfele's belief in 'More life per ㎡,' it brings ideas for spaces such as kitchens, offices, and hotels to life in a modern and engaging way through digital 3D. In each theme, the responsible representative appears virtually on the first screen to build trust in the brand, and the main products are arranged in a rotating direction with clicks encouraged to visually realize more detailed features, creating the atmosphere of touring an actual exhibition hall.

Häfele Korea will operate Häfele Discoveries through the end of this year, encouraging more consumers to use the website to see the excellence of Häfele products for themselves. Häfele Discoveries can be used immediately after signing up as a member on the website (https://discoveries.hafele.com), and its intuitive 3D-format online showroom lets visitors encounter products in an engaging way, as if traveling through a virtual world.

Meanwhile, to mark the domestic market launch of 'LOOX5,' one of Häfele Korea's key lighting lines, a webinar seminar was held on February 16. The Häfele Loox product range is a lighting system that embodies Häfele's technology, and since its release it has been convenient and durable, being applied across a wide variety of settings around the world, including hotels, residences, and premium stores. The Loox5 system includes a new series of LED strip lighting that offers improved lighting quality and a warranted lifespan of 50,000 hours. Individual components—such as drivers (ballasts) designed for continuous operation without failure, switches, lighting, and networking accessories—are a Plug & Play system that can be used right after plugging in, allowing easy connection without electrical equipment, and it offers a diverse lineup including mobile device connecting systems, RGB, and multi-level dimmable lighting. 1899-0091
