Hyundai Elevator
Over 1,700 Donated Items and Sponsorship Funds

Hyundai Elevator held the donation ceremony for its company-wide ESG campaign 'Hyundai:Re' on December 21. The campaign, conducted together with 'Goodwill Store' from October 10 to December 1 last year, took place at the Chungju Smart Campus, the Seoul office, and regional branches.
As part of its ESG management, the campaign was carried out over roughly two months to promote resource recycling, create jobs for people with disabilities, and revitalize the local economy. A total of 1,721 items donated by executives and employees—including clothing, dolls, books, sporting goods, and electronic devices—were collected. After the sorting process, the donated goods will be resold at 'Goodwill Store,' a retail outlet that employs people with disabilities.
The donation ceremony was held at the Hyundai Group Building (Yeonji-dong, Jongno-gu), attended by Hyundai Elevator CSO Lee Yong-woon, Management Administration Officer Ahn Byung-wook, Goodwill Store division head Han Sang-wook, and director Park Jeong-yeol. Along with the donated goods, a 3 million won 'sponsorship fund for building workplaces for people with disabilities' was also presented.
CSO Lee Yong-woon said, "This was an especially meaningful campaign because it was not simply a material donation, but one that brought together the hearts of all our executives and employees to provide small help in creating jobs for people with disabilities." Hyundai Elevator plans to make the 'Hyundai:RE' campaign an annual event and to strengthen its ESG management through various activities such as energy-saving campaigns and biodiversity conservation.
Goodwill Store receives resalable items donated by individuals and organizations to encourage resource recycling, and in the process of sorting, refurbishing, and returning these goods to society, it creates jobs and generates employment for people with disabilities.
