Reborn Through the Work of World-Renowned Artist HuskMitNavn

Large-Scale Exhibition at Savina Museum of Contemporary Art Through October 27

KCC is accelerating its cultural marketing efforts by supplying its water-based paint 'Sup-euro' for the first large-scale solo exhibition in Korea by world-renowned Danish artist HuskMitNavn. This exhibition puts eco-friendly values into practice at every stage, starting from the exhibition preparation process. KCC's water-based paint 'Sup-euro' was likewise used in creating the works as part of realizing these eco-friendly values.

HuskMitNavn, whose Danish name means 'Remember My Name,' is a graffiti artist based in Copenhagen. He has carried out his artistic work while keeping his identity hidden, and he has now held a solo exhibition in Korea for the first time. In this exhibition, not only murals created using KCC's water-based paint 'Sup-euro,' but also a variety of objects such as benches, tables, and chairs have been turned into artworks, conveying the exhibition's meaning even more richly.

For the mural works that use the exhibition hall walls as a giant canvas, KCC Paint's Sup-euro provided excellent color rendering that vividly reproduces primary colors, along with ease of application. This has ensured the artist's satisfaction with the realization of his works, while also effectively conveying the works' message, earning an enthusiastic response from visitors. This exhibition is especially significant as a special show planned to promote cultural and artistic exchange between Korea and Denmark. The exhibition runs through October 27 at the Savina Museum of Contemporary Art in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul. On display are 158 works, including 13 murals as well as paintings, drawings, prints, object installations, photographs, and videos of the artist at work.

Jeong Min-gu, head of KCC's Brand Communication Team, said, "Through this exhibition, visitors will be able to directly experience environmentally friendly art that uses KCC's water-based paint 'Sup-euro.' Just as more and more world-renowned artists like HuskMitNavn are realizing their works with KCC Paint, paint is being actively used in the field of art. Going forward, we will continue to pursue a variety of cultural marketing initiatives in the culture and arts sectors."
