Community Chest of Korea
Contributions Centered on Major Business Sites

KCC (CEO Jung Jae-hoon) has joined local governments' sharing campaigns by donating 700 million won to the Community Chest of Korea as a Neighbor Love fund.
This donation was divided and contributed to the regional branches of the Community Chest of Korea across the country where KCC's major business sites are located, including its headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul, and its Central Research Institute in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, ensuring that the support benefits are not concentrated in any single location but distributed evenly to the regions in need. The donated funds will be used to cover costs such as improving the housing environments and welfare facilities of vulnerable neighbors in each region.
As part of its ESG management, KCC is actively fulfilling its corporate social responsibility. In particular, it works together with the Community Chest of Korea to run year-end and New Year fundraising campaigns for neighbors and communities in need, while striving to deliver hope to vulnerable groups.
A KCC official said, "We hope that this donation will give our neighbors even a small measure of hope and courage, and going forward we plan to practice social contribution in line with ESG management—for example, by planning activities that fundamentally improve beneficiaries' housing environments using KCC's high-performance, eco-friendly building materials such as windows and paints."
Meanwhile, KCC is committed to fulfilling its corporate social responsibility under the social contribution catchphrase "A Better World We Create Together." It supports a variety of regional win-win projects, including the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's aging-housing improvement project "Saeteul Village," the Seoul Metropolitan Government's low-rise residential area improvement project "On-dongne to the Forest," and Seocho-gu's housing environment improvement project "Firefly House." It has also been dedicating its efforts to social contribution activities through the "To the Forest, To the Future" forest-restoration campaign, which it has carried out since 2022.
