On June 26, KCC provided interior-related job training and career counseling for students in the Architectural Interior Department of Jongno Industrial Information School, a specialized vocational high school located in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
This training was arranged to help enhance students' job competencies by sharing hands-on experience grounded in the company's systematic processes and expertise.
In particular, as KCC leads the industry—having been the first to introduce a total interior service that decorates an entire home around a single concept through its dedicated interior brand, Homecc Interior—the school requested that KCC take charge of the training for students hoping to enter the field in the future.
KCC focused on conveying a vivid picture of the actual work environment so as to provide practical help tailored to the participating students' career paths.
KCC introduced the latest trends and future outlook of the interior market, while also sharing know-how gained through many years of experience as an industry professional along with episodes from real projects.
In addition, while conveying the qualities and attributes required of an interior professional, KCC ran the programs used in actual work—such as those for estimates, ordering, and schedule management—delivering realistic, hands-on training that aided the students' understanding. After the training, KCC also provided career counseling for students hoping to find employment in the field.
Jongno Industrial Information School takes in third-year students entrusted from general high schools and provides them with practice-oriented vocational education focused on hands-on skills over their remaining one-year high school course. As such, the students' enthusiasm for the training is exceptional.
The training was praised for providing useful information that will help students easily adapt to the workplace and put to immediate use in the future.
