KS Group Acquires Patent-Holding 'Jeil Wallpaper'

KS Group has announced that it has acquired 'Jeil Wallpaper', a company specializing in wallpaper.

Jeil Wallpaper recently launched 'Basic Plus', a silk wallpaper featuring a diverse range of colors and practical textures, as well as 'Natural Wallpaper Wood', made from materials such as hinoki cypress. Jeil Wallpaper holds the patent for 'Natural Wood Wallpaper', which is being called the eco-friendly wallpaper of the future.

KS Group stated that after acquiring KS Wallpaper in January of last year and carrying out restructuring, its sales performance for January–February of this year rose more than 60% compared to the same period a year earlier, adding that, with the acquisition of Jeil Wallpaper, it expects to be able to achieve the No. 1 domestic ranking in exports this year as well.

KS Group Chairman Park Sik-soon shared his thoughts on the acquisition, saying, "I want to contribute to improving residential culture by producing eco-friendly wallpaper that can elevate the quality of living spaces."

Meanwhile, KS Group's affiliates include KNP Innotech, which processes cold-rolled steel sheets for automobiles and supplies them to Hyundai and Kia Motors; Sentec Korea, which manufactures AI sensors for automobiles; and KNP Logistics, which operates a logistics business.
