LG Hausys has opened a new space proposing future residential technology at its flagship store, LG Z:IN Square. The newly renovated third floor of LG Z:IN Square has been designed as a space where visitors can experience the diverse range of advanced technologies unveiled by LG Hausys.
The newly created ‘Future Windows Zone’ lets visitors explore smart windows and doors equipped with a Hidden Display, security features, automatic detection of fine dust, and more. In the ‘Kitchen Zone,’ augmented reality (AR) technology has been applied to a kitchen space styled with the interior stone HI-MACS to realize the kitchen of the future. When wearing AR glasses, visitors can also see actor Lee Seo-jin, an LG Hausys model, guiding them through the space.
In addition, an experience studio (Xtudio, eXperience Studio) has been set up where visitors can directly experience the outstanding technology of LG Z:IN products currently on the market. Visitors can check the insulation performance of windows and doors with a thermal imaging camera, and compare the inter-floor noise reduction effect of flooring materials through an equalizer.
Elsewhere, the first floor, which was renovated and reopened last year, has been reconfigured in the form of a model house, styling actual residential spaces such as kitchens and bathrooms with LG Z:IN products, while the second floor offers a self-coordination space where visitors can directly compare and analyze color and pattern combinations of wallpaper and flooring. When wearing AR glasses, visitors can also see actor Lee Seo-jin, an LG Hausys model, guiding them through the space.
An LG Hausys official said, “With this renovation, consumers can directly experience future residential spaces that incorporate LG Hausys’s outstanding technology,” adding, “We hope visitors will come to LG Z:IN Square to encounter the various technologies of LG Hausys that will lead the future of residential interiors.”
Meanwhile, LG Z:IN Square is a showroom with a total area of 1,690㎡ (about 510 pyeong) located on Furniture Street in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul, providing customers with comprehensive solutions ranging from materials consultation and design proposals to connecting them with construction companies. Since its opening in 2014, it has been reborn as a complex cultural space for interiors, hosting cultural events such as living flea markets, interior seminars, and living classes.
The Z:IN Square, newly renovated last October, is characterized by a customer-centered reconfiguration of its spaces to enhance customer convenience. The first floor, which stages actual residential spaces using the most premium product lineup among the building materials currently sold by LG Hausys, has been decorated as a model house so visitors can browse products suited to their housing type. In particular, reflecting the latest interior trends, it presents residential spaces specialized for kitchens as well as residential spaces that make diverse use of alpha (flexible) rooms. It is characterized by reinforced kitchen and bathroom spaces, for which remodeling demand has been rising recently, and price information for the materials used in the spaces is also displayed. A pop-up exhibition space composed of strategic product lines and new products that showcase LG Hausys’s technological prowess has also been set up on the first floor, where visitors can encounter LG Hausys’s eco-friendly materials as well as energy-saving products.
