LG Hausys (CEO Min Kyung-jip) is introducing an interest-free credit card installment payment service that eases the burden of interior remodeling costs for consumers.
In connection with this, LG Hausys announced that customers who purchase any interior product—including windows and doors, flooring, wallpaper, and interior marble sold at official dealerships and partner interior shops nationwide—with a credit card (Lotte Card, Shinhan Card) will receive interest-free installment benefits of up to 24 months.
With Lotte Card, interest-free installments of up to 24 months are available on payments of 50,000 won or more, and beyond the customer's own credit card limit, the limit can be temporarily raised by up to 30 million won depending on individual creditworthiness. Shinhan Card offers interest-free installments of up to 12 months, and beyond the cardholder's own limit, an increase of up to 20 million won is possible depending on individual creditworthiness.
Interest-free credit card installment payment is currently available at about 140 LG Hausys official dealerships and partner interior shops nationwide, and this is set to expand to about 250 locations during the first half of the year. Customers can check the relevant dealerships and partner interior shops through the LG Hausys customer center. Following the launch last year of 'Z:IN My Home Pay,' a financing service that lets customers purchase interior products in interest-free installments through a simple application process without a credit card, LG Hausys expects that the introduction of this credit card interest-free installment payment service will further accelerate its push into the B2C interior market.
In fact, the 'Z:IN My Home Pay' service, introduced in May last year, has drawn a strong response from customers, with about 250 interior product purchases (including installation) and payments totaling approximately 3 billion won.
Kang Gye-woong, Senior Vice President and Head of LG Hausys' Korea Sales Division, said, "By introducing a variety of payment methods that reduce customers' cost burden and enhance convenience, we are driving change in the interior market," adding, "Going forward, we will continue to unveil new services that put customer value first and lead the domestic B2C interior market."
