Flooring, wallpaper, windows and insulation named to the ‘2020 Green Products of the Year’

Four LG Hausys products—flooring, wallpaper, windows and insulation—have been selected as Green Products of the Year by consumers.
LG Hausys announced that its ZIA Sorijam flooring, ZIA Wallpaper series, Super Save windows and building insulation were selected for the ‘2020 Korea Green Products of the Year’ announced by the Green Purchasing Network Korea.
In 2014, LG Hausys became the first company in the building materials industry to have major products such as flooring and wallpaper chosen directly by consumers as Green Products of the Year. Having now been selected for the seventh consecutive year, the company once again proved that it is Korea’s leading eco-friendly building materials company.
In particular, two products—ZIA Sorijam flooring and building insulation—were named for the seventh consecutive year, while two others—Super Save windows and ZIA Wallpaper—were named for the fifth consecutive year. Super Save windows also won the ‘Consumers’ Choice Popularity Award,’ given to only the top seven products among all products under review.
The ‘Korea Green Products of the Year’ is an award that the Green Purchasing Network Korea, an incorporated association, has held every year since 2008 to invigorate the green products market. This year, experts along with 21 consumer and environmental organizations nationwide and a voting panel of some 230 consumers participated in a rigorous evaluation to select the green products.
In this year’s evaluation, the ZIA Sorijam flooring and the ZIA Wallpaper series earned high marks for enhancing eco-friendliness by applying a coating layer made from plant-derived ingredients to the product surface, while the Super Save windows and building insulation were highly rated for their high-insulation performance that improves buildings’ energy efficiency.
