LG Hausys took part in the newlywed home remodeling project for actor Kim Seung-hyun and his wife, featured on the SBS FiL and Lifetime variety program ‘Homederella.’

In the broadcast on August 2, actor Kim Seung-hyun—who drew great attention after marrying a broadcast writer—appeared on the show, and the program portrayed the remodeling of the couple’s worn-out newlywed home using LG Z:IN interior materials. The newlywed home, which had a dull atmosphere because remodeling could not be done at the time of move-in, was reborn as a bright home the couple would want to live in for a lifetime, thanks to LG Z:IN’s one-stop interior solution.

Ahead of the remodeling, the couple visited LG Hausys’ flagship showroom ‘LG Z:IN Square,’ where they examined a variety of styled interior spaces and interior materials and received interior consulting from experts, completing their preparations for a full-scale remodeling.

This remodeling focused on a bright and cheerful interior suited to a newlywed home, reflecting the couple’s dreams. The floor, which had an old-fashioned color, was replaced with the laminate flooring ‘LG Z:IN Jia Maru Real,’ featuring a striking white wood pattern, creating an overall bright and stylish atmosphere.

The team also did not forget to address the structural problems of the old home. The living room, which had issues with soundproofing and insulation, was fitted with ‘LG Z:IN Super Save 7’ windows, turning it into a space that highlights a wonderful view, while the bathroom—where insects appeared due to poor drainage—was transformed into a hotel-style bathroom with a retro pleated design.

In addition, the interior reflecting the couple’s lifestyle and tastes stands out. In the kitchen, custom lower cabinets were installed to accommodate the tall couple’s height, and the countertop was made from the engineered stone ‘LG Z:IN HI-MACS Aurora,’ enhancing both design and hygiene. The study, where the wife—a writer—spends much of her time, was transformed into a space that boosts concentration, with its walls decorated in a blue-gray color using the eco-friendly wallpaper ‘LG Z:IN Jia Fabric.’
