Flooring, insulation, wallpaper, windows and doors selected; also wins ‘Social Contribution Award’
Produces award-winning products for 11 straight years, simultaneously winning the ‘Green Masterpiece Award’
LX Hausys has been named a winning company of the ‘Korea Green Products of the Year’ award for the 11th consecutive year.
LX Hausys announced that four of its products—LX Z:IN PF insulation, View Frame windows and doors, Zea Fabric wallpaper, and the Editon Collection (Stone, Floor and Wall)—were selected for the ‘2024 Korea Green Products of the Year,’ announced by the Green Purchasing Network Korea.
With this, LX Hausys’ insulation products made the list of green product award winners for the 11th time, its flooring for the 10th time, and its windows/doors and wallpaper for the 9th time.
In this year’s evaluation, the PF insulation and View Frame windows and doors were highly rated for greatly contributing to improving building energy efficiency with their excellent insulation performance, while the Zea Fabric wallpaper and Editon Collection were praised for their eco-friendly performance, including reduced hazardous substances and reduced living-environment pollution throughout the entire manufacturing process.
In particular, LX Hausys produced award-winning products for the 11th consecutive year this year and won the ‘Green Masterpiece Award,’ which is selected through evaluation from among companies that have received green product awards for more than 11 years. It was also the only awarded company to receive the ‘Social Contribution Award,’ recognized for its efforts to improve the living spaces of children and adolescents, such as the Green Early Childhood Space Conversion Support Project.
Meanwhile, the ‘Korea Green Products of the Year’ is an award that the Green Purchasing Network Korea has held annually since 2008 to invigorate the green product market. This year, consumer environmental organizations and consumer voting groups from across the country participated to select a total of 60 green products excellent in environmental performance and product quality.
