Participates in the ‘Korea Architecture Festival & Fair,’ Showcasing High-Performance Insulation and Flooring

Draws Strong Interest from Visitors, Including Major Construction Firms and Building-Industry Clients

LX Hausys participated in the ‘Korea Architecture Festival & Fair (KAFF) 2023,’ held this past October at COEX in Seoul, where it showcased key products targeting its construction-company clients and accelerated its push into Korea’s B2B building-materials market.

Hosted by the Korean Institute of Registered Architects, the ‘Korea Architecture Festival & Fair (KAFF)’ has been held since 2006 and is Korea’s largest B2B (business-to-business) and B2G (business-to-government) specialized exhibition for building materials, equipment, and technology. This year, some 100 related companies took part, making it the largest edition since the onset of COVID-19. At this exhibition, LX Hausys presented a wide range of key products that are gaining popularity in the B2B building-materials market for their outstanding performance and distinctive design, including ▲the architectural PF insulation board ‘LX Z:IN PF Board’ and ▲the flooring product ‘LX Z:IN Edition Floor.’ The ‘LX Z:IN PF Board’ offers the highest level of insulation performance among domestic organic building insulation materials and has also secured eco-friendly certifications such as the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and low-carbon product certification. Thanks to this high energy efficiency and environmental friendliness, the product can earn additional points in Green Building Certification evaluations, drawing strong interest from visitors to the exhibition. In particular, in line with the recent trend of increasingly stringent laws and standards for building fire safety, the product has attracted considerable attention for achieving quasi-non-combustible, fire-resistant performance not only across all outer surfaces (front, back, sides, etc.) but also in its inner core. Alongside this, the flooring product ‘LX Z:IN Edition Floor’ and the wall-covering product ‘LX Z:IN Edition Wall,’ which create a marble-like ambiance, also drew great interest from visitors. These Edition series products apply ‘New Stone Core,’ a material developed in-house by LX Hausys that looks like marble but improves on the drawbacks of conventional marble flooring—cracking, denting of wood flooring, and vulnerability to moisture. New Stone Core is a high-strength board material made by pulverizing stone and then compressing it with high-polymer PVC (polyvinyl chloride) resin under high temperature and high pressure. In the exhibition booth, a separate ‘Edition Collection’ zone created a premium space with a unified marble design connecting walls and floors, drawing considerable interest from visitors for its ability to be applied as an integrated solution in commercial buildings such as condominiums and hotels.

An LX Hausys official said, “In Korea’s B2B building-materials market recently, demand has been rising sharply for products that not only satisfy relevant regulations on product safety and environmental friendliness but also feature differentiated high performance and design,” adding, “We will continue to present products—such as the PF Board and the Edition series—that construction-company clients seek out first for their outstanding performance and distinctive design.”
