Customer Communication & Eco-Friendly Management
Real-Time On-Site Delivery of Various Information
SK Magic (CEO Yoon Yo-seop) has become the first company in the rental industry to introduce a tablet-based E-catalog to strengthen customer communication and eco-friendly management.
The E-catalog is an electronic catalog that can be implemented in digital environments such as web, mobile, and tablet, through which SK Magic transmits and manages all information on its products and services in real time at sales sites. The company is distributing tablets to some 4,000 MCs (Magic Care) nationwide who handle door-to-door sales and services, using them to provide in real time the various information needed at sales sites, including product and service details, prices, and promotions.
In addition, the company can provide customers with tailored information anytime and anywhere via text message, messenger, and other channels—including catalogs, promotions, price comparisons by product and service, and estimates. Going forward, SK Magic plans to introduce virtual interior program features enabling 3D imaging and advance spatial layout, so that it can offer customers optimized information in greater detail.
The company expects the introduction of the E-catalog to strengthen customer communication while also delivering a triple benefit of cost reduction and environmental protection. It will save more than 2 billion won annually in costs incurred from producing paper catalogs, such as printing and delivery, and will reduce carbon dioxide by more than 40 tons each year. This is equivalent to planting 4,000 pine trees every year.
An SK Magic official said, “We expect this to establish a customized one-stop response system for each customer, further strengthening customer communication and serving as a catalyst for invigorating on-site sales support,” adding, “We will continue to strive to present the best products and services that lead the industry, placing customer value as our top priority.”
Meanwhile, SK Magic is stepping up its digital transformation to improve work efficiency across its overall management activities, including production, logistics, finance, accounting, and sales. In addition, at the end of last year it unveiled its eco-friendly home appliance lineup ‘Green Collection,’ setting a new standard for eco-friendly appliances, and it continues to pursue eco-friendly management initiatives to establish itself as an eco-friendly home appliance company.
