Showcasing ‘ThinQ UP’

LG Electronics is strengthening its push into the U.S. built-in market, leading with a differentiated customer experience that combines UP Appliances with its ultra-premium built-in brand ‘SIGNATURE KITCHEN SUITE.’

LG Electronics took part in ‘KBIS (The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show) 2023,’ held in Las Vegas, U.S., from January 31 to February 2 local time. KBIS is an exhibition where the latest kitchen and bath trends can be seen, and it draws built-in appliance customers from around the world every year, including interior design experts, kitchen designers, and architects.

At this exhibition, LG Electronics presented a diverse lineup of ‘ThinQ UP’ products, including built-in appliances such as SIGNATURE KITCHEN SUITE and LG STUDIO, innovative appliances such as the Styler ShoeCare and ShoeCase and the MoodUP refrigerator, and the minimalist-design appliances unveiled at CES 2023.

ThinQ UP is the overseas brand for UP Appliances aimed at the global market. LG Electronics is evolving LG ThinQ beyond simple connectivity and control into an all-in-one smart home platform that delivers a differentiated customer experience through upgrades.

LG Electronics designed its booth around the theme ‘Life on the UP,’ signifying continuous evolution tailored to customers for a better life.

Visitors could experience UP Appliances content that allows new features to be added through upgrades even after purchase—such as more finely adjusting the interior lighting brightness of a built-in refrigerator via the LG ThinQ app—as well as the ‘ThinQ Care’ service, which keeps products in optimal condition.

Thomas Yoon, Executive Vice President and Head of LG Electronics North America, said, “By adding the differentiated customer experience of UP Appliances to the exceptional value of the ultra-premium built-in SIGNATURE KITCHEN SUITE, we will further strengthen our push into the global built-in market.”
