Korea VR (CEO Jang Ho-hyun), a company specializing in the development of virtual reality (VR) solutions, announced that it is launching 'Kobiarchi S,' a solution that enables real-time virtual reality interior design in UHD image quality.
Completed after roughly three years of development, 'Kobiarchi S' was developed to dramatically improve image quality—the biggest drawback of virtual reality design solutions—so that true-to-life image quality can be rendered for users in real time without any time delay. Because it can instantly reflect customers' diverse requirements during the design process and then deliver results with image quality identical to reality, it is expected to significantly raise customer satisfaction.
The features of the newly launched 'Kobiarchi S' are as follows. △First, it is easy to use, so even beginners can learn and use it with ease. It is so simple that an interior design can be completed using only the mouse, allowing even beginners to learn and use it easily. △Second, it provides data for about 45,000 3D apartment floor plans free of charge. When designing an apartment interior, there is no need to create floor plans; you can complete a design right away simply by loading the 3D apartment floor plans provided by Kobiarchi S. △Third, it renders UHD image quality in real-time virtual reality. Without wasting a lot of time to obtain high-quality results, you can check lighting intensity and more in real time, producing results quickly. △Fourth, it provides more than 40,000 diverse materials. The solution offers materials from well-known manufacturers actually sold in Korea (wallpaper, flooring, lighting, furniture, etc.), and users need only place them in the desired positions with the mouse. △Fifth, it provides perfect compatibility with SketchUp and Max. Data modeled in SketchUp and Max can be easily experienced in UHD image quality within Kobiarchi S. Meanwhile, 'Kobiarchi S' is the interior solution of Kobi Online, a virtual reality interior service provided in a SaaS format since 2003. In addition to Kobiarchi S, it also offers solutions that enable professional design of kitchen furniture, system furniture, bathrooms, and more. About 9,500 interior companies are registered as members, and many companies such as 'Hyundai Livart' and 'LG Hausys' also use the Kobi Online service for customer consultations.
