Finnish premium lifestyle brand ‘Iittala’ ushers in the fall season with two new tableware collections: ‘Teema Honey’ and ‘Iittala×minä perhonen’.

Teema is a tableware line designed in 1952 by legendary Finnish designer Kai Franck, and it has been beloved around the world for decades ever since. Now, the Teema collection—named this year to the U.S. magazine Fortune’s ‘100 Greatest Modern Designs’—is introducing a new color, Honey, that evokes a crisp autumn morning. Faithfully reflecting the designer’s philosophy that ‘color is the only decoration you need,’ its simple, practical design stands out.

The new Teema Honey lineup consists of four types of plates plus a bowl and a mug, all highly useful in everyday life. The vivid, warm hue—born of Iittala’s expertise as a color specialist—fills the table with color. In particular, Teema pieces stack perfectly for storage to save space, and their versatility—suitable for refrigerated storage, the oven, serving, and the dishwasher—makes them useful at the table every day.

Alongside this, Iittala is releasing a new limited-edition collection that delivers everyday happiness through a collaboration with lifestyle brand ‘minä perhonen’.

Under the theme ‘a collection of small everyday items that bring brightness and happiness to daily life,’ the Iittala×minä perhonen collection features products in a variety of materials, including ceramic, glass, and textiles. The two brands share a common design philosophy of creating everyday products that can be used daily and passed down to the next generation, which led to this special collaboration.

This collaboration collection comprises three ceramic tableware pieces featuring a hand-drawn bird pattern on Iittala’s iconic Teema design, along with three glass birds that call to mind bright, happy everyday moments. At year’s end, the collection will also introduce a range of textile products with distinctive character, such as tote bags, pouches, and key rings. 02-749-2002
