Kangnam Jevisco Co., Ltd. is launching 'Proa Crete,' a solvent-free, eco-friendly inorganic flooring material.
Paints applied to the floors of facilities where hygiene is critical, such as restaurants and hospitals, are held to demanding standards. Kangnam Jevisco has recently unveiled an eco-friendly floor paint that can be used in such hygiene-sensitive facilities, including those requiring HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) certification, the food safety management certification standard.
The new product 'Proa Crete' is a concrete flooring material whose main components are polyurethane resin and high-strength inorganic powder. It offers a range of physical properties including abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, impact resistance, resistance to cold and heat, and slip resistance, and it delivers excellent workability with self-leveling performance and thick coating films of 4 mm or more.
In particular, 'Proa Crete' can be applied to indoor floors where high eco-friendliness is required—not only industrial facilities that require HACCP food safety management certification, such as food factories, cold storage facilities, logistics warehouses, and pharmaceutical plants, but also educational facilities such as schools, kindergartens, and daycare centers, as well as public facilities such as hospitals and nursing homes—so it is expected to earn high consumer satisfaction.
