'Pureunsol Bio Clean,' a new biomass paint developed by Gangnam Jevisco, is drawing industry attention after earning USDA certification from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The new product is a paint made using raw materials derived from nature, such as corn and sugarcane. While such products typically replace only some additives with renewable bio-based raw materials, 'Pureunsol Bio Clean' carries even greater significance because it is made with a special resin monomer based on natural materials. 'Pureunsol Bio Clean' is a functional interior paint with excellent stain resistance and mold prevention. It is well suited to educational and medical facilities such as schools, kindergartens, daycare centers, hospitals, hotels, and department stores, as well as commercial facilities used by large numbers of people, and its low odor helps maintain a pleasant working environment.
A Gangnam Jevisco official said, "The new product not only incorporates advanced bio-based eco-friendly technology but also uses pigments highly effective at blocking the penetration of contaminants, delivering superior stain resistance compared to conventional water-based coatings," adding, "The development of biomass paint is a field we are steadily researching to protect the Earth's environment. Going forward, we plan to continuously develop a wide range of biomass products—from architectural paints to industrial coatings—to accelerate our ESG management."
