Contech Co., Ltd., the official importer of IQAir, the Swiss premium air purifier brand, has launched the ‘Atem,’ a personal portable air purifier.

The new IQAir ‘Atem’ personal portable air purifier is equipped with a high-grade HEPA filter that, through rigorous in-house testing, captures fine dust particles down to 0.16 microns, and its compact, superb design is designed to catch the eye. In particular, with power and purification efficiency in mind, it features an ultra energy-saving DC motor of 1.5–3.4W, allowing it to be used without the burden of electricity costs. Its noise level is excellently engineered, ranging from a minimum of 20dB to a maximum of 44dB across the airflow settings. In addition, keeping pace with smart trends, it can be linked with up to four smartphones via a dedicated smartphone app and Bluetooth connectivity. Through the dedicated app, users can control the power, adjust the speed in three stages, check the filter life, and monitor temperature and humidity, as well as adjust the LED lighting according to the airflow speed. The ‘Atem’ has also been conveniently designed so that power and airflow can be controlled with a light touch at the center of the main body. The dedicated app for the IQAir ‘Atem’ air purifier can be downloaded free of charge from the Android Play Store and the Apple App Store.

Furthermore, as a personal device, the IQAir ‘Atem’ air purifier is built so that everything from the ‘diffuser’ to the ‘stand’ and ‘adapter’ can be easily detached, and a dedicated case for the Atem personal air purifier (sold separately) is also available, providing convenient portability. The ‘Atem’ is released in two colors, black and white, comes with a one-year free warranty, and is priced at 737,000 won for consumers.

Kim Jun-seok, manager of IQAir’s strategic planning team, said, “As fine dust and air purification have recently emerged as major issues, the personal air purifier market is growing,” adding, “Following the launch of this new ‘Atem’ air purifier, IQAir plans to introduce air purifiers suited to various uses, such as offices and professional settings.” He also said, “We plan to launch the ‘Atem Car,’ an automotive air purifier, in the second half of the year.”

Meanwhile, IQAir is a company that has researched, developed, and sold nothing but air purifiers for over 40 years, backed by technology and a reputation recognized in the medical and commercial markets. Its products are already widely used across fields requiring stringent environmental standards, including hospitals, semiconductor production lines, pharmaceutical companies, research institutes, and laboratories in some 70 countries around the world. 1522-2099
