Samhwa Paint Ind. Co., Ltd. announced the launch of 'i-Think Super Care Interior Plus,' a product that prevents cracking of interior coated surfaces in buildings.
Over time, buildings inevitably develop fine cracks due to contraction, expansion and similar effects. If rainwater, moisture or contaminants penetrate these cracks in the process, the reinforcing steel may corrode or the concrete may spall, reducing durability and potentially affecting the building's safety.
To prevent such problems, Samhwa Paint first developed 'i-Think Super Care Exterior Grade 1,' which prevents cracking of exterior coated surfaces, and has now followed it with the launch of 'i-Think Super Care Interior Plus,' which seals fine cracks inside buildings.
According to Samhwa Paint, 'i-Think Super Care Interior Plus' is a high-performance paint that helps extend a building's service life by preventing fine cracks on interior coated surfaces, thanks to an elongation rate of over 200% and excellent tensile strength.
'i-Think Super Care Interior Plus' meets the KS standard for interior water-based paints designated by the Korean Standards Association (KS M 6010 Type 2, Grade 2), and has also obtained the eco-friendly certification and Indoor Air Quality mark certified by the Ministry of Environment. In addition, its functional eco-friendly vinyl emulsion means there is almost no odor even when applied in enclosed spaces, offers excellent workability, and provides outstanding antibacterial and anti-mold performance, helping to create a hygienic indoor environment.
A Samhwa Paint official said, "i-Think Super Care Interior Plus protects interior wall surfaces for a long time after application and keeps the coating film clean, making it a highly economical product. As interest in building safety continues to grow, we expect strong demand."
Meanwhile, 'i-Think Super Care Exterior Grade 1,' launched this past January, is a high-performance paint that meets the KS Grade 1 standard for exterior water-based paints, seals fine cracks on building exterior surfaces, and extends a building's service life with excellent water repellency and tensile strength. 1544-5357
