Hazardous substances such as formaldehyde, classified as a Group 1 carcinogen among building materials, are known to be inhaled and to mainly cause or aggravate symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, difficulty breathing, and allergic rhinitis.
'Kyungdong i-Maru,' manufactured by Kyungdong Worldwide, is a Super E0 grade product—the highest eco-friendly grade—with a formaldehyde emission of 0.3 mg/ℓ or less. It is a building material that can protect young children from sick building syndrome, which causes various respiratory diseases and atopic dermatitis. In addition, 'Kyungdong i-Maru' features strong water resistance, so the flooring does not develop mold or rot, and it minimizes flooring shrinkage and expansion caused by moisture.
Furthermore, Kyungdong Worldwide's 'Kyungdong i-Maru' has a higher density than ordinary reinforced flooring, so it quickly raises the floor surface temperature after heating begins, and its heat-retaining properties slow the rate at which the surface temperature drops—making it an economical flooring product that can reduce heating costs in winter.
In addition, 'Kyungdong i-Maru' comes in a total of eight color patterns, including white, oak, gray, walnut, and teak, carefully selected as patterns that suit any interior, including residential spaces as well as commercial and educational spaces.
In particular, for children's rooms, the calm and stable colors of the Pearl White, Ash Beige, and Natural Oak patterns are recommended.
On top of this, 'Kyungdong i-Maru' has strong durability, making it resistant to dents and scratches caused by dropped objects, so it is a flooring material that young children can use comfortably.
