Gonggan System Windows (CEO Yeom Hyun-jun) has officially launched its 'Aluminum System Door' to gain an early lead in the premium detached-house market.
Designed with insulation, airtightness, and aesthetics in mind, the new product is a premium system door that can be applied to a wide range of buildings including detached houses, townhouses, and commercial facilities. In particular, it has earned Grade 1 energy consumption efficiency (thermal transmittance of 0.998), enabling it to create a living space that stays cool in summer and warm in winter.
Yeom Hyun-jun, CEO of Gonggan System Windows, explained the background of the launch: "Aluminum system doors are currently being reappraised as specialized architectural windows and doors, offering structural stability, freedom of color choice, a smooth painted finish, safety in the event of fire, and wind-pressure resistance to withstand strong winds."
Gonggan System Windows' system door is highly durable, using an aluminum frame with an 83㎜ face width for both the frame and the sash. In addition, even after prolonged exposure to the outdoors, it is free from the frame sagging caused by the contraction and expansion commonly seen in ordinary PVC windows, as well as from gaps forming between the window and the frame. On top of this, insulation and airtightness performance have been enhanced through 47㎜ high-performance triple glazing, a dual insulation system of polyamide insulation bars and heat-blocking connectors, and the integration of German hardware. It also offers the advantage of convenient door opening and closing, while the application of a 3-Point Multi Lock strengthens security, airtightness, and soundproofing performance. Furthermore, the system door's surface is finished with three coats of fluorine paint, so it does not corrode or deform even when exposed to sea breezes, salt, various harmful gases, and acid rain. The frame is available in some 60 colors, including black, silver, charcoal, metal gray, and metro bronze.
