Kujung Maru Co., Ltd., an eco-friendly flooring specialist, has launched an additional new design in its eco-friendly, high-efficiency reinforced (gang) flooring product ‘Kujung Modern Gang.’

After the standard version launched last year achieved strong results—sales grew fivefold in just one year—Kujung Maru made an aggressive move by diversifying its installation methods and surface materials to release the herringbone-type ‘Marble White.’ ‘Kujung Modern Gang’ is a reinforced flooring suited to the Korean-style ondol (underfloor) heating method, while also being a high-performance, high-efficiency product with improved energy efficiency. In particular, at 6 mm thick—about 20% thinner than the conventional 7.7 mm reinforced flooring—‘Kujung Modern Gang’ offers good thermal conductivity and high heating efficiency, making it effective at cutting heating costs in winter. Its surface uses the same high-strength HPM as ‘Kujung Gang Maru,’ giving it high durability against denting and scratching, and it uses SE0 (Super E0) grade water-resistant plywood, the top grade for eco-friendly materials. In addition, ‘Kujung Modern Gang’ is rapidly gaining market share thanks to its excellent quality and eco-friendliness combined with differentiated price competitiveness compared to standard reinforced flooring.

The newly launched design ‘Marble White’ is characterized by faithfully reproducing the natural patterns unique to marble, allowing it to blend well into any space. It is especially expected to win a favorable response from consumers who had hesitated because of the burden of installing high-priced herringbone marble. 031-766-0700
