Shinsegae Casa has launched 'Self Planner,' a service that lets customers design their space and check quotes directly online.
'Self Planner' is a one-stop service that covers everything from designing to fit a customer's lifestyle and the size and shape of their space, to checking quotes and making a purchase. With 'Self Planner,' customers can skip the process of visiting an offline store to consult with staff, and can purchase modular furniture—which can otherwise feel complicated and difficult—through simple, easy steps.
Intuitive simulation improves how accurately customers can envision the actual product and reduces discrepancies when the furniture is installed, which is expected to significantly enhance customer convenience and satisfaction. This is part of the enhancement strategy for Good.com, Shinsegae's online platform. The aim is to reduce the gap between the actual product and what customers see when ordering online, while further strengthening customer convenience and the shopping experience. The service is being applied first to Casamia's 'New Museo' series of built-in system wardrobes. Customers measure and enter the height, width, and depth of the space where the wardrobe will be installed, then select the wardrobe's size, storage modules, doors, and other options to preview how it will look once installed and see the final purchase price, allowing them to order right away. In addition, the company plans to expand the service so it can be used as reference material during interior consultations at Casamia's offline stores.
A Shinsegae Casa official said, "By introducing this service, we will reduce the frustrating experiences customers have had when an ordered product differs from the actual item in online purchases, and we will improve convenience and satisfaction."1566-0228
