Noroo Paint (CEO Cho Sung-guk) announced the launch of 'Energy Saver Window', a heat-blocking paint that blocks summer solar heat and ultraviolet rays.
'Energy Saver Window' is a general consumer product that can be easily applied to windows and glass, and is expected to be widely used in residential environments that need to block ultraviolet rays and reduce cooling costs during the summer.
'Energy Saver Window' also helps with skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis and hives that can occur in summer due to ultraviolet rays and solar heat. As people spend more time at home amid the recent spread of COVID-19, the likelihood of being exposed to ultraviolet rays and solar heat indoors has increased, and 'Energy Saver Window' can block these rays and heat. In tests conducted by the Korea Testing & Research Institute (KTR), 'Energy Saver Window' demonstrated a blocking effect of over 90% for ultraviolet rays and over 75% for visible light.
In addition, Noroo Paint's 'Energy Saver Window' comes with a tray, masking tape, and roller included in the product package for easy painting, eliminating the need to purchase auxiliary materials separately. Its excellent convenience is a key advantage, as the work can be done easily by simply rubbing the glass window with the roller. After cleaning the glass surface thoroughly and applying the product evenly, a translucent film that effectively blocks heat forms in about 20 to 30 minutes. Furthermore, when removal is needed, it can be easily peeled off 2 to 3 minutes after spraying water with a spray bottle. Unlike glass sheets, it can also be applied to embossed glass surfaces, offering the strengths of simpler installation and broader usability compared to glass sheeting.
A Noroo Paint official said, "Energy Saver Window is a product that concentrates Noroo Paint's technological know-how and can serve as a substitute for window sheeting. It can be easily applied not only in ordinary homes but also on the glass windows of stores and offices to block ultraviolet rays and reduce energy use." 031-467-6114
