Noroo Paint announced that it has produced and released the ‘2019 COVER ALL Color Book,’ featuring new colors, and distributed it to Noroo Paint dealerships nationwide.
A Noroo Paint official said, “The newly released COVER ALL Color Book compiles a database of the various colors that have been popular over the past 10 years along with new trend colors, for a total of 1,512 colors,” adding, “It was created so that designers, painting professionals, and general consumers can easily and quickly select and use the colors they want.”
The color book classifies colors into categories such as Off White, a bright-toned color used as a base color; Monochrome, which expresses light and dark tonal gradations in gray tones; Chic Neutral & Accent Neutral, which shows subtle differences among low-saturation colors; Moderate Feather/Punch, which conveys a bright and gentle feel through high saturation; Bright Crush, which is vivid and radiant with high brightness and saturation; Vivid Surprise, a high-saturation group close to primary colors; and Deep Black, in which low-saturation, deep blended colors create an overall dignified impression. By allowing paint colors of various moods to be viewed at a glance, the book enhances color usability.
A Noroo Paint official said, “The 2019 COVER ALL Color Book was also produced based on our color-implementation technology, and we expect it to be highly useful when selecting colors for apartments, buildings, and interiors,” adding, “Through Noroo Paint dealerships nationwide, we will provide consumers with the exact colors they want.”
Meanwhile, Noroo Paint, which established the industry’s first color research institute in 1987, signed a strategic partnership in 2011 with the U.S. company Pantone, which sets the global color standard, and produces Pantone’s 2,300 colors in paint form. It is the only company in Korea with the rigorous color-implementation capabilities required by Pantone. In addition, since 2012 it has held the ‘Noroo International Color Trend Show’ every year to promote the development of Korea’s color industry. 031-467-6114
