‘Wheelie,’ an AI cleaning robot capable of delivering optimal performance across a wide range of spatial environments—large buildings, resorts, factories, public facilities, subway stations, and more—will make its debut next month.
The new ‘J30’ and ‘J40’ models unveiled by ‘Wheelie,’ the CareRobot brand from Rhinos, are not ordinary vacuum cleaners but top-performing ‘AI cleaning robots.’ Equipped with an AI RGBD camera, the ‘Wheelie’ cleaning robot enables smart dirt detection, spatial contamination analysis and reporting, object recognition, repeat cleaning, and cleaning-path optimization. In addition, its zero-distance technology allows debris in tight corners and irregular edges to be reached and removed by suction with a lifted side brush, and it even features a mopping function that is more delicate and flexible than the human touch. The ‘Wheelie’ AI cleaning robot also boasts a powerful suction force of 11,000 pascals (㎩), and implements a triple-lifting function that recognizes the flooring material and automatically raises the main brush, side brush, and mop simultaneously. Another eye-catching feature of the ‘Wheelie’ AI cleaning robot is its multi-functionality: a shelf and tablet can be mounted on the unit, allowing it to guide and promote the facility to visitors while cleaning.
Lee Sang-rak, CEO of Rhinos, said, “Over six months since the beginning of this year, we conducted field tests in a variety of spatial environments—building lobbies, logistics warehouses, restaurants, resorts, commercial stores, and more—to optimize the customer interface,” adding, “Through these field tests, we have further upgraded the robot into a cleaning robot with strong, dependable operational details—not only cleaning functions such as wet mode, fine-particle removal, and automatic drainage and refilling, but also scheduling, app support, and voice guidance for obstacle recognition.”
Meanwhile, ahead of the launch of the ‘Wheelie’ AI cleaning robot in early September, Rhinos began accepting applications from August 5, offering on-site demonstrations for client companies along with generous additional benefits for purchasing customers. In addition, until August 31, on top of the new-product discount, customers will receive a one-year supply of consumables—which must otherwise be purchased separately—as a free gift, and the operating software will be installed free of charge.
