KCC Glass (CEO Chung Mong-ik) has launched the Silver and Gray colors of 'CULLINAN,' an ultra-high-insulation double Low-E glass featuring world-class insulation performance.
Low-E glass is a coated glass with a thin film of metal and ceramic applied to its inner surface to enhance insulation and solar heat shielding performance. It is classified according to the number of metal-layer coatings: a single coating produces single Low-E glass, while a double coating produces double Low-E glass. Based on innovative technology, KCC Glass's 'CULLINAN' is a double Low-E glass product that maximizes insulation performance. In testing by the Korea Conformity Laboratories, it recorded a thermal transmittance of 0.97 W/㎡K based on 28mm insulated glazing, boasting the highest-level thermal transmittance among all double Low-E glass products currently in existence worldwide. First introduced in 2022, CULLINAN in the 'Light Blue' color (product name: MZT152) has been adopted one after another for government offices and schools requiring high energy efficiency thanks to its outstanding insulation performance, as well as for premium commercial buildings and mixed-use residential complexes.
With this launch of the 'Silver (MZT128)' and 'Gray (MZT135)' colors, KCC Glass's 'CULLINAN' now offers all three of the most popular colors in the recent construction market, including the existing Light Blue color.
