Dongwha Natural Flooring, the building-materials brand of Dongwha Enterprise (CEO Kim Hong-jin), has launched 'Natus Jin Touch,' a new fiberboard engineered wood flooring product. Newly introduced to the market, 'Natus Jin Touch' applies a synchronized-embossing process to the product surface to realistically render the three-dimensional texture of wood grain. The synchronized-embossing process is a technique that overlays embossing (a raised and recessed three-dimensional pattern) onto the wood-grain design on the product surface, giving consumers not only the visual effect of natural wood as it is, but also the distinctive tactile feel of timber.

In addition, the fiberboard engineered wood flooring 'Natus Jin Touch' uses SE0-grade eco-friendly NAF (Non-Added Formaldehyde) board as its core material, so there is no concern whatsoever about harmful substances. The SE0 grade is characterized by a formaldehyde emission level of 0.3 mg/L or less, meaning there is virtually no formaldehyde emission. Furthermore, because it is produced using only 100% domestic pine as its raw material, its quality can be trusted all the more.

Its functionality is also outstanding. The new fiberboard engineered wood flooring 'Natus Jin Touch' offers enhanced water resistance compared to plywood engineered wood flooring products, making it suitable for use in everyday living spaces where water is frequently used. With excellent resilience against moisture exposure, the flooring undergoes little deformation even when exposed to moisture, and it also boasts high durability thanks to the reinforced HPL surface material used on the flooring surface. In particular, it is highly resistant to dents, scratches, and staining and is easy to maintain, making it ideal for residential spaces where young children are being raised.

'Natus Jin Touch' can be installed using both click-lock and adhesive installation methods, enhancing installation stability while also resolving the chronic problem of wood-based flooring—shrinkage and expansion caused by temperature changes. In addition, by using a dedicated adhesive containing a radon-control substance during the installation stage, it can effectively adsorb and break down radon gas emitted from the floor surface.

The new fiberboard engineered wood flooring 'Natus Jin Touch' consists of six patterns centered on Oak, the wood species most preferred by domestic consumers. The surfaces of the vintage patterns combine glossy and matte colors to add a three-dimensional depth to the flooring surface when light is reflected. In addition, reflecting modern and minimal trends, the portfolio includes black and gray color patterns, broadening consumers' range of product choices.

Kwon Sun-ik, head of the building-materials sales division at Dongwha Enterprise, said, "Natus Jin Touch faithfully reproduces the surface texture of natural wood, satisfying consumers both visually and tactilely, and we expect it to generate a strong response in the market." He added, "Along with the excellence of its products, Dongwha Enterprise, as a leading company in the wood-based flooring market, will continue to achieve customer satisfaction through differentiated services such as a 10-year quality warranty program, direct installation by the head office, and head-office-operated after-sales service." 1899-2837
