Dongwha Enterprise has expanded its product lineup with the introduction of two new ‘Natus Zin’ products. They are ‘Natus Zin Herringbone,’ which applies a herringbone installation method to Natus Zin, and ‘Natus Zin Solid Wood,’ which combines natural solid wood with the NAF (Non-Added Formaldehyde) board that is the core material of Natus Zin. Both products fully retain the advantages of ‘Natus Zin.’

Because the eco-friendly new material ‘NAF board’ is used as the core material, formaldehyde emissions are almost nonexistent, and the products offer excellent water resistance, durability, and thermal conductivity. By applying a dual installation method (combining click installation with adhesive installation) that is differentiated from conventional laminated flooring installation, the products also solve the chronic shrinkage and expansion problems of wood flooring. Radon control technology is applied during the production stage to minimize the emission of radon, a major cause of lung cancer, and during the flooring installation stage a special adhesive containing radon-control substances is used to adsorb and break down radon gas even more effectively.

A key feature of ‘Natus Zin Herringbone’ is that, in addition to herringbone installation, it enables unique installation methods rarely offered by competitors, such as daecheong-maru (traditional hall floor) or square patterns. In addition, the product is made in a size optimized for installation (95×475㎜), allowing the pattern design to stand out even more.

‘Natus Zin Solid Wood’ features the same natural solid-wood veneer used in solid-wood flooring, with a special surface treatment that enhances the natural texture of solid-wood flooring. Using NAF board as its core material, it improves upon durability—long considered the biggest weakness of solid-wood flooring—making it strong against dents and scratches and easy to maintain.
