Dongwha Enterprise announced the launch of 'NATUS Duo,' a new product that combines a NAF board with water-resistant plywood to enhance stability.
'NATUS Duo' is a specialty composite flooring made using a dual core created by combining a NAF board with water-resistant plywood. The NAF board is an eco-friendly material of SE0 grade, made entirely from domestic pine. The water-resistant plywood used to manufacture NATUS Duo is also a material that emits almost no harmful substances.
This newly launched 'NATUS Duo' is a product that combines the strengths of the company's fiberboard laminate flooring 'NATUS Jin' and plywood laminate flooring. Through the use of a dual core and a high-strength surface protection layer, it substantially improves impact resistance and water resistance compared to conventional plywood laminate flooring, preventing dents and scratches as well as deformation or contamination caused by everyday water exposure. It also offers price competitiveness compared to plywood laminate flooring, and is expected to establish itself quickly in the market.
According to an experiment comparing the impact resistance of 'NATUS Duo' and plywood laminate flooring, when a 1 kg weight was dropped from a height of 15 cm, the dent depth was 0.07 mm for NATUS Duo and 0.38 mm for plywood laminate flooring, confirming that its impact resistance is up to five times superior. In addition, in a water-resistance experiment that measures the degree of swelling at the joints one hour after building a dam on the flooring surface and pouring water, NATUS Duo and plywood laminate flooring swelled 0.01 mm and 0.11 mm respectively, confirming that its water resistance is also up to ten times superior.
In addition, 'NATUS Duo' offers three lineups by pattern and dimension, greatly expanding the range of choices. It consists of △NATUS Duo, released in 14 patterns; △NATUS Duo Herringbone, which enables distinctive interior design; and △NATUS Duo Lungo, which enables a spacious feel with its wide width and long length.
