DeWALT, the premium professional power-tool brand of Stanley Black & Decker Korea (CEO Hong Seong-wan), has launched two new cutting tools that combine upgraded work performance with user convenience.

DeWALT’s newly introduced ‘2x 60V MAX FlexVolt BL 12-inch Cordless Sliding Mitre Saw (DHS780)’ is equipped with two 60V MAX batteries, delivering the powerful 120V output together with the convenience of cordless operation. Fitted with a brushless motor, the tool offers strength comparable to that of a corded tool. During use, the bevel angle can be adjusted from 0 to 49 degrees to both the left and right, and with a rotation speed of up to 3,800 RPM, fast and precise work is possible.

Its user-focused features also stand out. To minimize the risk to operators, an XPS LED light has been applied that accurately indicates the cutting position using a shadow method, and the light blinks to provide an alert when the battery is running low or the motor temperature rises sharply. In addition, the base has been made longer to prevent the product from tipping over, and an Air-Lock dust-collection system with an included dust bag minimizes the dust generated during work, creating a clean working environment. On top of this, user convenience has been maximized compared to previous models, making it a product that can further meet customers’ expectations. Launched alongside it, the ‘2300W 14-inch Chop Saw (D28730)’ maximizes product lifespan through the use of top-grade components, and is characterized by the finest durability capable of withstanding even extreme environments. Equipped with a high-output 2300W motor, it boosts work efficiency, while a sturdy guard and ergonomic design ensure user safety and convenience. It is also built with a long fence so that operators can secure the product more firmly and easily without any discomfort during work. It can be operated simply with a Lock-On switch and boasts a rotation speed of up to 4,000 RPM. Weighing 16.5 kg including the blade, the ‘2300W 14-inch Chop Saw’ is lighter than its predecessor (D28720).

Hong Seong-wan, CEO of Stanley Black & Decker Korea, said, “The new DeWALT mitre saws combine powerful output and cordless convenience with performance that has been further strengthened compared to previous models,” adding, “As a company leading the global tool market, we will continue to expand our product lineup featuring DeWALT’s own differentiated technology, striving to broaden the range of choices for domestic consumers.”

Meanwhile, the two new DeWALT products are available for purchase through DeWALT dealers in each region and via online marketplaces. 02-3016-9200
