DEWALT, the premium power tool brand of Stanley Black & Decker Korea (CEO Hong Seong-wan), is launching the ‘60V 3.0Ah FLEXVOLT BL 12-inch Sliding Miter Saw (DCS781X2)’—which offers a well-rounded combination of accuracy, ease of use, and safety—along with two ‘Rechargeable LED Work Lights’ and the ‘20V MAX 8.0Ah XR Lithium-Ion Battery (DCB208)’, which is compatible with all 20V MAX products.
The new DEWALT ‘60V 3.0Ah FLEXVOLT BL 12-inch Sliding Miter Saw (DCS781X2)’ features a maximum blade speed of 3,800 RPM and a brushless motor, delivering powerful performance as well as accurate and sharp cutting power. It is equipped with a stainless steel base and fence designed and machined to high accuracy standards, enabling stable work with minimal wobble. The product design has also been upgraded a step further for user convenience. A built-in CAM lock system makes angle adjustments easier, while the fence lock function enables maximum-height cutting. In addition, it has been newly designed so users can find the locking pin easily and quickly even during work, and the sliding lock mechanism—which can be secured in both forward and backward directions—and the bevel adjustment device allow for smooth cutting. Safety features have also been added. Simply raising the guard makes it easy to locate the blade-securing bolt, allowing for safe and simple blade replacement. Furthermore, the AirLock dust extraction system removes dust generated on the job site, creating a clean working environment.
DEWALT also unveiled two durable ‘Rechargeable LED Work Lights’ that can be used for multiple purposes in dark working environments. The ‘12V/20V MAX Rechargeable LED Multi Work Light (DCL077N)’, which is easy to move and carry at a light weight of 1.3 kg, operates for up to 6 hours when using a 20V 5.0Ah battery and can be adjusted to a brightness of up to 2,000 lumens. Equipped with a 360-degree rotating handle, it can be used in multiple directions, and it can be mounted on a tripod for greater versatility. The ‘20V MAX Rechargeable LED Work Light (DCL074N)’ features a freestanding design, allowing it to stand on its own without a separate mount. In particular, it can be hung from the ceiling with a hook or work line, so it can be used as overhead lighting. It operates for up to 11 hours when using a 20V 6.0Ah battery and boasts a brightness of up to 5,000 lumens. In addition, a new battery has been released to enhance the convenience of field workers. The ‘20V MAX 8.0Ah XR Lithium-Ion Battery (DCB208)’ maximizes efficiency for users with long working hours or heavy workloads thanks to its high 8.0Ah capacity, and it also offers high compatibility as it can supply power to the entire DEWALT 20V MAX lineup. 02-3016-9200
