DEWALT, the premium professional power tool brand of Stanley Black & Decker Korea, is launching two ‘TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 Tool Boxes’—multifunctional units specialized for rugged outdoor job sites that deliver not only optimal storage capacity and durability but also improved work efficiency.
First, the DEWALT ‘20V/60V MAX TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 Dual Charging Tool Box (DWST83471)’ features two built-in charging ports, allowing batteries to be mounted and charged inside the tool box without having to bring a separate charger. It can charge up to two power tool batteries simultaneously, taking about 75 minutes for a full charge based on the ‘20V MAX 5.0Ah Lithium-Ion Battery (DCB184)’. In addition, it can store up to 12 of these batteries, and it can also charge mobile devices via its Type-A and Type-C USB ports.
Durability has also been reinforced with a sturdy, safe design. As an IP55-rated product that protects tools from job-site dust and external moisture, it boasts high durability, and a built-in ventilation fan prevents overheating inside the tool box. It also features an intuitively designed charge indicator that lets you check battery usage, making it easy to verify charging status even while working, and its one-touch automatic latch system connects with TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 to keep the job site more neatly organized.
Introduced alongside it, the DEWALT ‘20V MAX TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 Work Light Tool Box (DWST08061-8)’ can be used with lighting in three different ways, creating a stable working environment even in dark and confined spaces. The product can be separated into a work light and an open-type tool box for standalone use, and its versatility can be expanded as needed—using the metal hook on the bottom of the work light for wall-mount mode, connecting it to a TOUGHSYSTEM tool box for standing mode, or floor-placement mode. In particular, it is equipped with high-brightness dual LED panels that deliver up to 4,000 lumens, ensuring worker visibility even on dark job sites. Its touch button makes it easy to adjust brightness across six levels, and its freely adjustable articulating LED lets you precisely set the light coverage up to 360 degrees. When paired with the ‘20V MAX 5.0Ah Lithium-Ion Battery (DCB184)’, it can run for up to 16 hours.
