DeWALT, the premium professional-grade power tool brand of Stanley Black & Decker Korea (CEO Hong Sung-wan), has launched the ‘20V MAX 5.0Ah POWERSTACK™ Lithium-Ion Battery (DCBP520)’ and is also introducing a diverse range of power tool kits that include this battery.
The new ‘20V MAX 5.0Ah POWERSTACK™ Lithium-Ion Battery (DCBP520)’ is a newly released product that upgrades the capacity of the ‘20V MAX 1.7Ah POWERSTACK™ Lithium-Ion Battery (DCBP034)’—which DeWALT launched this past June—to 5.0Ah. In particular, it is compatible with DeWALT’s entire ‘20V MAX’ power tool lineup and chargers, allowing a variety of power tools to be used efficiently according to work conditions and environments. The new product features powerful output and outstanding performance, delivering up to 50% more power than existing products and enabling longer working times for a productivity improvement of more than 50%. In addition, it runs more than 30% cooler than cylindrical batteries, more than doubling its lifespan.
Rugged durability and convenience are also strengths. A rubber over-molded base is fitted to the bottom of the product to protect the battery in case it is dropped from a height, and a battery level icon displayed by LEDs on the side of the product allows users to manage their work pace and time. Moreover, its light weight of 750g places less strain on the wrist even at outdoor sites, reducing operator fatigue.
In addition, DeWALT introduced a diverse range of new kits, each configured as standard with two POWERSTACK 5.0Ah batteries and a DeWALT charger (DCB115) in a TSTAK case. Among these kits, ▲the ‘20V MAX POWERSTACK 5.0Ah XR Brushless G2 Hammer Drill Driver (DCD996H2T)’ offers a 3-speed gear-change function for detailed work, as well as three operating modes—hammer drill, drill, and driver—enabling a wide range of tasks. ▲The ‘20V MAX POWERSTACK 5.0Ah XR Brushless Cordless Grinder (DCG405H2T)’ features a compact form factor that can be used even in tight spaces, and is equipped with an electronic kickback brake for enhanced safety. ▲The ‘20V MAX POWERSTACK 5.0Ah XR Brushless Compact Impact Driver (DCF850H2A)’ boasts optimized impact drilling and excellent weight balance with its shortest-ever overall length of 101mm—25% shorter than the existing product (DCF887). These new kits come standard with a high-performance XR brushless motor offering excellent durability.
In addition, a total of seven kits were introduced, including the ‘20V MAX POWERSTACK 5.0Ah XR Brushless Compact Impact Driver (DCF809H2T)’, the ‘20V MAX POWERSTACK 5.0Ah XR Brushless G2 Drill Driver (DCD991H2T)’, the ‘20V MAX POWERSTACK 5.0Ah XR Brushless G2 Impact Driver (DCF887H2A, includes additional accessories)’, and the ‘20V MAX POWERSTACK 5.0Ah XR Brushless Compact Impact Wrench 1/2-inch (DCF922H2T)’. 02-3016-9200
