LEDVANCE, a global lighting company, has launched the 'Linear & Cross Generation 2', an LED PL luminaire upgraded with a variety of specifications.

The new product is an LED luminaire with an integrated light source that replaces conventional twin-tube fluorescent lamps. Offering more options than the first generation, it can be widely applied not only in ordinary homes but also in commercial facilities such as shopping malls, restaurants, and offices. Depending on shape and power consumption, it comes in two types: the straight 'Linear' and the cross-shaped 'Cross'. 'Linear' is available in three sizes — 560 mm (30W), 900 mm (50W), and 1120 mm (60W) — while 'Cross' comes in a single 560 mm specification.

The 'Linear & Cross' Generation 2 is manufactured with a seamless design that has no visible joints in the lighting, giving it a slim, modern look. Its thin profile makes it possible to use the ceiling space more generously and creates a visual effect that makes the installation area appear more spacious. In addition, the new product uses a high-quality LED light source to emit uniform light and provides comfortable, flicker-free lighting that greatly reduces eye strain.

Installation is also simple. With a built-in control gear, it can be connected directly to AC power for use. In addition, the 'Linear & Cross' Generation 2 offers an excellent color rendering index of 80, a luminous efficacy of 80 lm/W, and two light colors (4000K/6500K). It has a lifespan of 15,000 hours and consumes up to 50% or more less energy than twin-tube fluorescent lamps.
