Global lighting company LEDVANCE has newly launched two indoor ‘LED ceiling lights’ featuring high-quality light and a slim design.

The new products can perfectly replace conventional linear fluorescent lamps and are offered in two types: the ‘LED Square Ceiling Light (50W)’ and the ‘LED Round Ceiling Light (50W)’. Their slim profile and simple lines help create a cleaner interior look for indoor spaces.

The greatest strength of the new products is their comfortable, high-quality light. Both ceiling lights use premium LED light sources developed with LEDVANCE’s optical technology to emit crisp, uniform light. In addition, high-distribution lenses spread the light over a wide 120-degree angle, and as flicker-free products they eliminate light flicker, significantly reducing eye strain.

The new ‘LED ceiling lights’ are also highly durable. Their covers are made of PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate), a material with excellent light transmittance and low likelihood of discoloration. With a lifespan of 25,000 hours and 50% less energy consumption than fluorescent lamps, they also help save energy.

A LEDVANCE representative said, “As spring arrives, demand is growing for lighting that can make indoor spaces bright and clean,” adding, “We hope you’ll create a bright atmosphere with LEDVANCE LED ceiling lights, which offer crisp, uniform, high-quality light as well as flicker-free performance that even considers eye health.”

Meanwhile, LEDVANCE is a global general lighting company spun off from OSRAM, which has a tradition spanning more than 110 years. The spin-off was carried out to actively respond to the rapidly changing lighting market while maintaining OSRAM’s excellent technological capabilities, quality, and brand value. Its product categories range from traditional lighting such as fluorescent and halogen lamps to next-generation lighting technologies. 02-3420-3700
