Global lighting company LEDVANCE has launched the OSRAM LED CHIP Control T8 Linear Lamp.

The OSRAM LED CHIP Control T8 Linear Lamp is a long, slim industrial luminaire that uses a filter to effectively block exposure to light at wavelengths of 520nm and below. It also provides a 1700K light color and, with a 160-degree beam angle, distributes light evenly across wide spaces. It can be used in factories and production facilities, and is especially well suited to environments where UV exposure must be minimized, such as semiconductor manufacturing plants.

In addition, the OSRAM LED CHIP Control T8 Linear Lamp features an external driver, with a power consumption of 17.5W and a maximum lifespan of 40,000 hours for high energy efficiency. Another advantage is that its low maintenance costs allow the initial investment to be recovered quickly.

Furthermore, the new OSRAM LED CHIP Control T8 Linear Lamp is made of a lightweight yet sturdy material, offering excellent durability and easy handling, and uses the G13 base, the domestic standard specification for fluorescent lamps.

A LEDVANCE representative said, “LEDVANCE's goal is to provide lighting suited to specialized working environments in a more economical and reasonable way,” adding, “We will continue to strive to bring high-quality, high-efficiency products—from specialized industrial lighting to everyday lighting—to even more consumers.”

Meanwhile, LEDVANCE was reborn under the name 'LEDVANCE' from OSRAM, which has a tradition spanning more than 110 years, and is expanding its scope across a variety of lighting businesses while contributing to the growth of the Korean lighting market. While maintaining OSRAM's outstanding technology, quality, and brand value, it responds proactively to a rapidly changing lighting market as a specialized lighting organization. Its product categories range from traditional lighting such as fluorescent lamps to next-generation lighting technologies including LED lighting, LED luminaires, EC (electronic components), and smart lighting. 02-3420-3700
