Miele, the German premium home appliance brand, has launched two models of the 'Scout RX3' robot vacuum, boasting powerful suction.

The upgraded models arrive two years after the launch of the Scout RX2, equipped with a range of smart technologies that enhance both suction power and convenience.

The two Scout RX3 models deliver thorough cleaning with the 'Quattro Cleaning System,' which features two front side brushes and two rear suction inlets. The generous 20-arm side brushes mounted on the left and right of the front of the unit first sweep up dust from every corner of the home, after which the roller brush located at the bottom center of the unit rotates up to 890 times per minute to draw dust into the suction inlets. The 20 cm main suction inlet takes in coarse dust, while the rear suction inlet stays close to the floor to capture even fine dust, enabling more thorough cleaning. In particular, the roller brush's suction power increases by up to 25% when cleaning carpets, and the vacuum can distinguish between hardwood floors and carpets to automatically adjust suction power to suit the surface.

In addition, the '3D Smart Navigation' technology supports precise and stable movement of the vacuum. Two cameras built into the left and right sides of the front of the unit scan the space from different angles to recognize detailed three-dimensional spatial information, while 10 infrared sensors minimize collisions with and falls from various obstacles in the home. A gyro sensor, used for position measurement and orientation, allows the vacuum to detect the layout of the home even in the dark. At just 85 mm in height, the Scout RX3 can reach into tight spaces beneath furniture, boosting cleaning efficiency.

User convenience is also maximized through a variety of mobile app features and easy device management. With the Miele Scout app, users can schedule cleaning to take place at their preferred times and in their preferred zones. Moreover, the improved home mapping feature makes it possible to check the areas the device is cleaning more intuitively, allowing users to set favorite zones as well as no-go zones.
