Dreame Technology (hereinafter Dreame) has launched the ‘L10 Pro’ robot vacuum—which automatically detects and avoids nearby obstacles through the application of ‘LiDAR Navigation’—in Korea via overseas direct-purchase specialty stores on Coupang and Gmarket.
The Dreame L10 Pro robot vacuum was developed with consideration for the hassle of conventional floor cleaning, the mopping that is easily neglected, and the needs of families with dogs. It automatically avoids floor obstacles and removes dust and debris from the floor, and it even detects carpets automatically to clean the dust on top of them.
On a single full charge, the Dreame L10 Pro efficiently cleans a space of 250㎡ (about 75 pyeong) for two and a half hours. In addition, with multi-recognition mapping technology, users can also design cleaning plans tailored to their own circumstances through the dedicated smartphone app.
In particular, with specific-zone cleaning and virtual no-entry zone settings, the robot vacuum can be set to clean only the desired areas. Equipped with dozens of smart sensors, it detects drop-offs before falling and avoids them, and it can even clean the hair that accumulates under furniture.
Dreame plans to continuously develop related technologies and release its future upgraded models, the ‘Z10 Pro’ and the ‘W10’. Both products will also feature LiDAR, a state-of-the-art sensor technology. The Z10 Pro is set to be equipped with technology that automatically empties the dustbin, while the W10 will feature a function that cleans away germs and bacteria.
Frank Wang, Dreame’s International Marketing Director, said, “As people spend more time at home due to the impact of COVID-19, the home has become not only a place to rest but also a space to work,” adding, “Dreame plans to continuously advance its technology to the point where people no longer need to set aside time for cleaning at home.”
Meanwhile, Dreame Technology, founded in 2015, is an innovative company with the vision of ‘realizing a high-quality life for global users.’ Dreame focuses in particular on the research of premium vacuum cleaners by leveraging aerospace dynamics technology. At the end of 2017, Dreame joined the Xiaomi ecosystem and became a driving force and leading company in smart household vacuum cleaners.
