Royal Copenhagen, the Danish royal porcelain brand with 246 years of tradition, has launched two new Blue Fluted Mega products that pair beautifully with the cool, refreshing mood of summer.
Mega is the line that best embodies Royal Copenhagen's design philosophy of 'new creation grounded in tradition.' It was born in 2000 through a collaboration with Danish designer Karen Kjældgård-Larsen. By rendering the blue floral motif of Royal Copenhagen's classic Blue Fluted Plain in a bold, oversized form on white porcelain, it completes a modern and even more stylish table.
This year, the Blue Fluted Mega line introduces a new storage container and jug. First, the round Blue Mega Storage Jar boasts a generous 1.4-liter capacity. It comes with a lid so food can be stored cleanly and freshly, and it is also handy because the container itself can be used for serving without the lid. While the existing jug carries a classic beauty, with a soft form and a large, abstracted chrysanthemum pattern, the new Blue Mega Modern Jug delivers a fresh sensibility with its angular, modern shape. The small-sized jug is ideal for holding milk and pairs beautifully with the various Blue Mega products.
