Royal Copenhagen's Collectible series is a limited annual collection that presents new motifs capturing Denmark's history and culture each year. Because the molds are destroyed at the end of each year, the pieces are available only during that specific year. Crafted with the delicate hand-painting techniques of master artisans, they make the perfect special New Year's gift. This latest release can be enjoyed as one figurine and one plaquette, each depicting an endearing cat.
The new 2022 figurine vividly captures a cat gazing intently at something with curious eyes, as if it has spotted something intriguing. The 2022 plaquette, meanwhile, portrays a family decorating a Christmas tree behind a frosted window, with a cat looking on. In particular, the plaquette comes in a special box that lets you convey a message of gratitude, making it ideal as a gift.
