Hyundai Livart, the total interior group affiliated with Hyundai Department Store, has unveiled the 'Rellu Dining Table,' a piece of living-dining furniture that can be used as both a dining table and a sofa.
The 'Rellu Living-Dining Table' (435,000 won, based on a 4-seater) is configured so that customers can choose from a variety of combinations, including 2-seater and 4-seater solid-wood dining tables, 1-seater and 2-seater high-back sofas, and a 2-seater standard bench.
In particular, the height of the table and chairs has been lowered by about 10 cm compared with existing products so that the set can also double as a sofa in the living room, emphasizing a comfortable, cozy seating experience. In addition, water-repellent coated fabric has been applied so that easily spilled liquids such as water, coffee, and juice do not readily soak in, making the furniture simple to maintain.
Alongside this, two dining chairs suited to the coming summer season are also being introduced. First, the 'New Windsor Low-Back Solid-Wood Chair' (101,000 won) is characterized by its reinterpretation of classic British design. Crafted with a low-back design that lowers the traditional high backrest, it makes the space look more spacious and creates a stylish interior. The top section is also finished with a U-shaped curve, providing a comfortable, body-hugging seating experience.
The 'Lège Rattan Solid-Wood Dining Chair' (140,000 won) takes its motif from rattan, a material that has recently gained popularity for creating a resort-like atmosphere. It uses synthetic rattan to overcome the drawbacks of natural rattan, such as chipping and discoloration, and enhances practicality by using highly durable rubberwood for the legs and backrest. It is also offered in three colors—Warm Natural, Calm White, and Chic Black—so customers can choose according to their taste.
