iloom has launched 'Berlin,' a recliner sofa featuring unrivaled technical expertise and trendy design.
Berlin is a next-generation recliner sofa that offers more stable and longer-lasting use than other recliner sofas on the market. Through its own research, iloom identified that the main causes of recliner sofa breakdowns and noise are the warping or breakage of wooden frames. Based on this finding, the company applied a new reclining mechanism to an in-house developed steel frame to achieve high durability, resulting in the Berlin sofa.
The patent-pending steel frame firmly supports the reclining mechanism at the heart of its movement, while the premium mechanism of proven quality delivers smooth operation without noise. In fact, Berlin proved its unrivaled durability by passing iloom's rigorous life-cycle test, which applied a 100 kg load 40,000 times. Going forward, iloom plans to apply steel frames to all of its recliner sofas to present products of the highest quality.
Berlin also features precise angle adjustment for a variety of positions. The backrest adjusts precisely up to 135 degrees, firmly supporting the body in any position, whether leaning back or lying down, and the zero-gravity position provides comfort as if lying on a bed. The extendable footrest, which folds into a 'U' shape, comfortably supports the legs, and the headrest, adjustable across 45 levels, allows the head to rest comfortably as well.
Berlin creates a stylish interior by incorporating various design elements that set it apart from conventional recliner sofas. Rather than the bulkiness typical of recliners, it presents a clean, minimal design, and the reclining control button is placed on the right side of the left seat cushion to minimize the exposure of mechanical elements. In addition, the fabric version is part of the 'WITH PET' lineup, which uses highly durable fabric with everyday water resistance, allowing households with pets to use it without worrying about stains or damage.
