‘Martinelli Luce’ is an Italian lighting brand founded in 1950 by its founder, Elio Martinelli, and it is a premium comprehensive lighting brand with a history of more than 70 years. From signature models in which history breathes, such as the ‘Pipistrello’ lamp, to new models developed through collaborations with renowned designers, the brand presents a wide range of lighting and continues to lead the global market. Globian is the official Korean importer of Martinelli Luce, supplying a variety of Martinelli Luce lighting products in Korea.

Combining Basic Modules — the ‘Colibri Collection’

Colibri is Martinelli Luce’s signature system lighting series. Created by Emiliana Martinelli, the daughter of founder Elio Martinelli, the product is composed of simple linear forms. Using a basic module in which an LED bar runs in a straight line along a long black rod, the series produces a wide variety of pieces such as table lamps, floor lamps, pendants, and wall lamps. The modules are joined by circular magnetic joints, allowing them to be connected very easily and in countless configurations using every angle. By rotating the body 180 degrees, the direction of the light can be switched, so light converted to uplight or downlight can be used as direct or indirect lighting.

▲Colibri Magnetic is a lamp composed of 130 cm basic modules connected to one another by magnets. When the height of each segment is adjusted differently to vary the inclination, the magnets act as joints, allowing the lighting to render a space three-dimensionally. It is a product that showcases not only functionality but also design creativity all at once.
