Bosch's Power Tools division (Division Head Park Jin-hong) announced the launch of the 'GSR 18V-60 FC', a professional all-in-one drill driver that can be used for five applications with a single cordless tool.
The newly launched 'GSR 18V-60 FC' allows four adapters to be attached and detached, enabling everything from drilling to hammering with a single cordless tool—such as a drill driver, hammer, and corner driver—for use across five applications. This is the world's first tool in Bosch's 18V class (following the 10.8V) capable of handling everything from drilling to hammering with a single cordless tool.
The available adapters include the metal chuck adapter (GFA 18-M), the dedicated edge adapter (GFA 18-E), the hammer adapter with auxiliary handle (GFA 18-H), and the angle chuck adapter (GFA 18-WB). The dedicated edge adapter (GFA 18-E) delivers great flexibility when working in tight corners or in spaces close to walls. Attaching the hammer adapter (GFA 18-H) enables hammering work, while the angle chuck adapter (GFA 18-WB) allows precise work in corners or confined locations.
In addition, Bosch's proprietary FlexiClick system enables adjustment across 16 positions (360˚), making it easier to work in cramped spaces or corners where using a tool is not easy. Furthermore, the keyless chuck adapter allows convenient one-click accessory changes.
With a light weight of 1.75 kg and a compact design, it offers easy handling and reduces fatigue, while its connectivity feature links with the Bosch Toolbox app to allow tool customization such as soft-start settings, kickback control, LED afterglow, and precision clutch. Another major feature is that warning messages and battery status can also be conveniently checked via smartphone.
The 'GSR 18V-60 FC' also boasts excellent safety features. Its kickback control function instantly stops the tool when foreign material becomes caught during operation, preventing accidents in which the operator's wrist is twisted. An electronic motor protection function is applied to prevent motor overload and boasts a long motor life. The battery incorporates Bosch's COOLPACK technology to prevent battery overheating and damage. Moreover, the battery is 100% compatible with all Bosch 18V cordless tools within the same voltage class, enabling especially economical use.
