Musco Sports Lighting, a global leader in lighting solutions, drew attention by supplying the lighting solution for the 'MLB Speedway Classic' held at Bristol Motor Speedway, one of NASCAR's flagship venues.

Held on August 2 (local time) in Tennessee, it was the first MLB regular-season game as well as a special event game staged at one of NASCAR's signature circuits. The 'MLB Speedway Classic' was a matchup between the Atlanta Braves and the Cincinnati Reds, broadcast live across the United States on the FOX channel. This game was held in the same vein as MLB's special games for which Musco has supplied lighting, such as the 'Field of Dreams' in Iowa and 'Rickwood Field' in Alabama. Bristol Motor Speedway, one of NASCAR's flagship circuits, was reborn as a baseball stadium for this game. With approximately 146,000 seats, it was recorded as one of the largest stadiums in MLB history, and Musco designed and provided a lighting solution tailored to the venue's unique structure and enormous scale, satisfying both game focus and broadcast quality.

Working closely with MLB and Bristol Motor Speedway, Musco provided its state-of-the-art 'Total Light Control – TLC for LED™' lighting system to meet the necessary requirements and ensure optimal visibility for players, fans, and the nationwide TV audience. The system was installed in a temporary rack format between the existing lights, allowing it to be removed after the event ended. In addition, special LED luminaires designed with broadcasting in mind minimized glare and light spill while delivering color and visibility optimized for the global broadcast environment.

Lee Dae-woo, branch manager of Musco Korea, the Korean subsidiary of Musco Sports Lighting, said, "It is deeply meaningful for Musco to be part of a historic MLB moment," adding, "It carries great significance that Musco's lighting technology shone at the Bristol venue, with its unique structure and large-scale seating." He continued, "Going forward, through lighting solutions that respond to a variety of sports and environments, we will provide the best experience to sports fans and players not only in Korea but around the world." 032-553-8010
