LG Electronics is adding the original designs of 'Moooi' to its Objet Collection of space-enhancing interior home appliances, offering customers a differentiated lifestyle experience that elevates even the quality of the installation space.
'Moooi' is a premium lifestyle brand renowned for products with designs that evoke works of art, such as a rabbit-shaped lamp and a life-sized horse wearing a lampshade. LG Electronics has been expanding its collaboration with 'Moooi' since last year, and earlier this year it unveiled for the first time works combining the LG Objet Collection with Moooi's design at the global design fair 'Milan Design Week.'
From among the works the two companies collaborated on, LG Electronics has carefully selected two products — the lifestyle OLED TV Posé and the table-type air purifier Aero Furniture — to launch the 'Moooi Edition' in the domestic market for the first time. The 'Moooi Edition' features Moooi's signature designs that beautifully depict a variety of animals. In particular, the 'LG OLED Objet Collection Posé Moooi Edition' is a lifestyle TV whose curved design, in which the panel and body form a U-shape when viewed from the side, stands out. Moooi's design has been added to the fabric beneath the screen and on the back so that the product can be used like a beautiful interior objet no matter where in the home it is installed. The back of the product can be decorated with interior accessories such as postcards and photos, and the power cord can be hidden inside the stand, so it can be arranged neatly even when installed in the middle of the living room.
LG Electronics has also applied Moooi's design to the top table of the 'LG PuriCare Objet Collection Aero Furniture,' a furniture-style air purifier that combines a sophisticated design that enhances the atmosphere of the installation space with differentiated performance. The bottom of the product is cylindrical, drawing in air from all 360 degrees, and the top table can be chosen in either a round or track type. Wireless charging and mood lighting are applied to the top and bottom of the table, respectively. This year it swept the world's leading design awards — including the top prize at the iF Design Award, as well as the Red Dot Design Award and the IDEA — earning recognition for its outstanding design that fits well in any space, such as a bedroom or study.
The products will be sold in limited quantities of 200 units each at the online brand shop (LGE.COM) and major LG Electronics Best Shops, including The Hyundai Seoul, Shinsegae Gangnam, and the Gangnam flagship store.
