Its most notable feature is the adoption of a new indoor-side main body that supports a voice guidance function and a wireless linkage function to enhance user convenience.
The voice guidance function of the 'MI-460T' is a feature previously applied to the company's push-pull door lock 'MI-7000,' where it received favorable reviews from consumers. It provides real-time voice guidance to the user on operating status, menu settings, and more during use. Along with this, it is also equipped with a self-system check function that automatically checks the product's status and notifies the user, greatly enhancing user-centered convenience.
In particular, by installing a wireless communication pack (sold separately) into the new indoor-side main body—which stands out with its intuitive jog-shuttle interface and clean, uncluttered black design—and registering a wireless remote control (sold separately), users can utilize a wireless linkage function that allows the door lock to be operated from a short distance without directly handling it, greatly increasing usability.
In addition, when the product is in use, door opening and closing as well as low-battery indications are displayed on the touch panel on the front of the product so that users can check them immediately, and it recognizes a smart card (tag key) in real time to enable quick door opening.
Furthermore, the product incorporates a wide range of powerful security features and various convenience functions that have been recognized in Milesystec products over the years, including an unlimited dummy-digit function to prevent password exposure and an emergency alarm system to guard against unauthorized intrusion.
